Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

Tested backups and a written recovery plan, so you know how long recovery takes before you need it.

Backups only matter if you can restore from them quickly. We design, monitor and regularly test backup and recovery for your servers, workstations and cloud data, and document exactly what happens if something goes wrong.

The goal is simple: an outage, a ransomware attack or a failed server is an inconvenience, not a crisis for the business.

What is included

Who it is for

Any organization that would lose revenue, miss deadlines or damage client trust if systems were unavailable for a day or more, and organizations that must show backup and recovery controls to an insurer, auditor or customer.

How it works

  1. Identify. We list your critical systems and agree on how much downtime and data loss each can tolerate.
  2. Design. We build backup and recovery that meets those targets and protect it from tampering.
  3. Test. We test restores on a schedule, report the results and update the plan as your environment changes.

Common questions

What are RTO and RPO?

Recovery time objective (RTO) is how long you can be down. Recovery point objective (RPO) is how much recent data you can afford to lose. We set both for each critical system.

Is Microsoft 365 data backed up automatically?

Microsoft keeps the service available, but retention and recovery of deleted or corrupted data are limited. A separate backup is the safer approach.

How often should backups be tested?

We recommend testing critical systems on a regular schedule, at least quarterly, and after any major change.
